Documentation of statistics The reference period of the statistics is the last week of the year (25 to 31 December). Socio-economic status is based on information about a person's main type of activity, occupation, occupational status and industry. People are classified based on their own activity, with the exception of people aged 0-15 and the group 'others persons outside the labour force', who have been assigned the socio-economic status of the reference person of the housing unit. The latest valid regional division is used in the statistics. The figures in the tables are final.
